Handlelife Academy turned things up on June 10, 2026, hosting one of the most exciting events in the program's history.
The Handlelife Experience pulled together 30 of the region's top young athletes from grades 5 through 8 for a night of elite basketball, competition, and culture at Handlelife HQ.
The Atmosphere: Nothing Short of Electric
Special Guest: Brandon McCoy
The special guest for the night was none other than Brandon "Beezy" McCoy Jr., one of the most decorated high school players in the country. A McDonald's All-American, MaxPreps California Player of the Year, and three-time USA Basketball gold medalist, McCoy came in fresh off a historic senior season at Sierra Canyon School, where he led the team to a state championship and a 30-1 record. He is set to join the Michigan Wolverines for the 2026-27 season - a future NBA prospect who took time to pour into the next generation of players.
Competition, Awards, and Recognition
The atmosphere inside Handlelife HQ was nothing short of electric. The energy was high from the moment the athletes walked in. High-intensity workouts, live competition, music, giveaways, and interactive brand stations filled the evening with the kind of excitement that goes well beyond a standard training session. Athletes did not just work out - they experienced what it feels like to compete in a real, high-level environment alongside someone who has already reached the next level.
Awards were presented throughout the night, including the Brandon Award for MVP, the Hustle Award, and the Mr. Handlelife and ShotTracker Award?- recognizing the athletes who showed out the most when it mattered.
The Handlelife Experience was exactly what it was designed to be: a night where young athletes trained hard, competed with purpose, and left inspired.
